Our programs and interactive exhibits inspire, teach and reinforce curiosity. We also have special events, birthday parties, field trips and more!

Holidays & Closings

We are closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and the Saturday of Downtown Appleton’s Octoberfest. Keep an eye on our calendar for other holiday hours.

We close early the day of the Children’s Parade and the Friday of Octoberfest.

Special Hours

We are sometimes open on Mondays during school vacations and other special events. These will be posted on our calendar.

Late Night at the BFK is usually on the third Friday of the month (but check the calendar!) and we are open until 7 pm.
