The largest battle of the Revolutionary War's Southern Campaign was fought at the small North Carolina backcountry hamlet of Guilford Courthouse. The battle proved to be a turning point for British military operations in the Revolutionary War.

Visitor Centers
Battlefield Visitor Center
Begin your park visit at the visitor center. Here, you will find information on the park and the Battle of Guilford Courthouse through two interpretive movies and a museum. Rangers or volunteers at the information desk are glad to help you with answers and assistance. Colonial Heritage Center
The Colonial Heritage Center provides opportunities to learn about daily life and the American Revolution. Located in the Colonial Heritage Center is a colonial map exhibit, including a ten-minute battle diorama program. There is also an exhibit gallery that focuses on colonial lifestyles. The Hoskins Farm is adjacent to the Colonial Heritage Center and features historic buildings - the Hoskins Home, the Kitchen, a Double V-Pen Barn, a Blacksmith Shop, and the Kitchen Garden. Currently closed for upgrades.
Weather
Summers are warm to hot and humid with the occasional thunderstorm. Spring and Fall are cool with rainy periods. Winter is mild and cold with snow and ice possible in January and February. Wear comfortable clothing for the season and good walking shoes year round! The Weather Channel
