    On August 19, 1946, Virginia Blythe gave birth to her son, William Jefferson Blythe, III. Named for his father who died before he was born, he grew up to become William Jefferson Clinton - the 42nd president of the United States. In this house, he learned many of the early lessons that defined his life and his presidency.

    Directions

    President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home NHS is located in Hope, Arkansas. Hope is 30 miles from Texarkana (TX, AR) and 110 miles from Little Rock. From I-30, take exit 30 and travel south on Hwy 278 (Hervey Street) for approximately 2 miles. The park is located on the corner of 2nd Street and S Hervey Street. Parking is available on West Division Street.

    President William Jefferson Clinton Birthplace Home National Historic Site Visitor Center

    Our visitor is a two story brick home adjacent to the home that President Bill Clinton lived in. Address for the visitor center is 412 W. Division Street, Hope, AR 71801. Inside is a gift shop and exhibit featuring information about President Bill Clinton's childhood. Official Parking is along Division Street across from the visitor center. There is accessible parking and entrance on Second Street. Our hours are Monday through Sunday, 9:00am to 4:30pm.
