Whether you’re craving Italian comfort food like our 16-Layer Lasagna, or something with a little more spice like our famous Italian Nachos, Johnny Carino’s has something for everyone.

We revere the tradition of serving only the best, and when it means coming in early to hand-roll the meatballs, build a 16-Layer Lasagna one layer at a time, or craft our tiramisu from scratch, we think of it as passion, not work. And while we are most proud of the Italian classics, it’s our one-of-a-kind, signature spicy dishes that really get us excited! A little something we call Spiced Italian. Our Spicy Shrimp and Chicken, Italian Nachos, and Jalapeno Garlic Tilapia have been some of our more popular dishes since we first opened our doors.

History of Johnny Carino’s Family Restaurant

In 1997, Fired Up Restaurant Concepts acquired the only five existing Johnny Carino’s Italian Kitchen, infusing them with the energy and passion we know today. Starting with Chef Carino in the early years, and carrying forward today with Chef Chris Peitersen, Johnny Carino’s has developed many signature dishes that respect the authentic Italian traditions, while creating unique, “spiced” flavor profiles that express Johnny Carino’s passion and creativity, and commitment to fresh, quality food at a great value.

With over 70 locations in the US and 10 across the Middle East, Johnny Carino’s has changed the dining experience for anyone who wants to enjoy a great Italian family restaurant atmosphere. As we have evolved over the past 15 years, we have never lost touch with the passion for excellent food and wonderful service we provide to our guests.
